The drawings within this section are of structural importance. SM volume 74/6 and SM volume 74/7 show the hall's plan, as executed with its four central piers and twelve half-piers around the perimeter supporting the central pendentive dome. The laid-out elevations show block rustication decorating the walls. However, banded rustication was actually employed. SM volume 74/42, SM volume 74/40 and SM volume 74/41 focus on the piers, with varying fluting designs for the pilasters in relief. As executed, the piers had triple-fluting on two sides facing in towards the crossing. SM volume 74/10 and SM volume 74/9 are designs for the structure of the side-aisle arches, linking the four corner-bays and the shallow side-arms of the crossing. For reasons of structure and aesthetics, Soane continued to experiment with segmental and semi-circular arching. SM volume 74/10 also experiements with brick spandrels above the arches. In the executed hall semi-circular side-aisle arches were realised surmounted by large fielded panels.
