Preliminary design and alternative finished drawings for a chimneypiece and overmantel mirror frame for the octagonal room, 1777; it is not known if this design was executed (3)

Notes

As the house was destroyed in the Blitz, it is not known if this design for a chimneypiece was executed. If one of the designs for the overmantel mirror frame was executed, then it would probably have been sold at auction following Keate’s death alongside his other effects, and is now lost.
