Preliminary design and finished drawing for the ceiling in the front drawing room, 1769, as executed (2)

Notes

The front drawing room would have been the front room, overlooking the river, on the first storey of the house.

The ceiling was executed in accordance with Adam’s design, and survived at number 1a Royal Terrace to be photographed by the LCC in 1906 and 1936.
