Aspect
Plan of a tripartite, rectangular ceiling, divided by a fluted frame, and with a central square compartment containing a large circular frame of Vitruvian scroll, containing a central enclosed medallion, encircled by figures supported by urns and tubular flowers, alternating with anthemia and rosettes enclosed within wreaths of calyx which connect to festoons of calyx enclosing segmental tablets around the edge of the circular compartment, and beyond this, in the corners of the central square compartment are rosettes enclosed within fans, and festoons, and the central square is flanked by rectangular compartments containing a repeating pattern of oval medallions enclosed within figure-if eight wreaths, flanked by rosettes enclosed within the wreaths, and alternating with rinceaux
