Purpose
Finished drawings for variant designs for the funerary monument of Major General James Wolfe, 1759, unexecuted (2)
Notes
The designs of Adam volume 19/11-12 do not follow any of Adam's variant rough preliminary designs for the monument (Adam volumes 9/72 verso, 54/2/1, 54/2/12-13). Though the general layout with a relief panel in front of a pyramid in relief, and flanked by pedestals remains, different motifs are taken from each of the rough preliminary designs. The composition of the relief panel (Adam volume 19/67) remains constant.
