Preliminary designs, a finished drawing, and working drawings for the chimneypiece in the great dining room in an Etruscan style, presumed to have been executed, 1780 (6)
Notes
The great dining room was created in 1781, presumably along with this design for the chimneypiece (Adam volume 23/148), but there was no sign of this interior decorative scheme in the early twentieth century when the house was demolished.
The chimneypiece is similar in design to the chimneypiece for the middle bedroom at Kenwood, and the Etruscan room at Home House.
