Banbury, Oxfordshire: unexecuted designs for a house for James King, February-March 1805 (9)
Notes
The designs for a house for James King were made in just over a month (February 1805) and then the idea was dropped. Square on plan and compact, it was of the villa type and Soane's design for the front (drawing [7]) - plain and well proportioned makes one wish that it had been built - and preserved.
