Designs for a house, c1786, unexecuted (7)
Notes
The second scheme is the most unconventional of the three schemes, dominated by the semi-rotunda façades. King suggests that the unconventional form of the design may have led to its omission from SM Adam volume 46, the volume Rowan argues compiles Adam villa and castle designs intended for publication.
The design for the principal elevation of the second scheme does not survive.
