Notes
George Bailey also worked on the pulpit and reading desk for Holy Trinity Marylebone on 10 December 1824 (SM 54/427; SM 54/4/28), and despite not being securely dated, the designs for those at St John’s Bethnal Green are also in Bailey’s hand (SM 47/5/29; SM 47/5/30). This means Soane entrusted Bailey with these particular elements of the church.
