Designs for a house, 1774, unexecuted (6)

Notes

This first scheme for the house is composed of a central block with flanking pavilions attached by straight links. The house was clearly built on a hillside plot as the land is higher on the principal front, showing a half-sunk basement on the south front, and a full ground storey basement on the north front. These scheme was not executed.
