Arnold Quellin, sculptor
A statuette of Charles II wearing the robes of the Order of the Garter, terracotta. This is the model for a statue that was erected on the Royal Exchange in the City of London, commissioned in 1684 by The Grocers' Company. The finished statue, for which Quellin was paid £60 in December 1685, was destroyed by fire in 1838.
