Curatorial note
Rectangular, with four square cut tapering legs and small ball feet; two drawers with brass knobs decorated with a swirling pattern (the plates are missing on the left-hand drawer) and keyholes with brass linings, cock beads around drawer fronts.
This piece is described in the Furniture and Fittings inventory, 1837, as ‘A Mahogany Table with 2 drawers’ and was in the ‘Small South Attic’ (what is today the small office) top floor No. 13.
