Companion figure to Cupid (SC33) and presumably the model for the marble which was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1824 (no 1012). This and the companion figure of Cupid (SC33) were executed in marble for the poet Samuel Rogers and the marbles were in his collection in 1836.
The casts are recorded in the 1835 Description as being in the Tivoli Recess. In 2012 this sculpture was reinstated in its original position in the recreated Tivoli Recess as part of Phase 2 of Opening up the Soane.
