Soane office, presentation design for Tyringham House (Bucks): elevation of entrance façade.

Pen and watercolour on paper

Museum number: P206

Curatorial note

This drawing in an unidentified Soane Office hand shows Tyringham as executed but without the domestic offices to the right of the entrance. There are four standing figures (possibly Coade Stone) shown on the balustrade above the main entrance, not executed.

This is one of a pair of drawings of Tyringham (with P208) that Soane hung in his Breakfast Room.
