A cast of a small female head

plaster

Museum number: MP104

Curatorial note

Although this was described in the Museum's early inventories as a 'small female head', it seems to have the bow tied under the chin and hair arrangement that is characteristic of heads of Apollo. It hangs in the Monk's Parlour but seems unlikely to be a cast from a medieval carving.
