Curatorial note

A relief panel, slightly concave on plan a though intended for the wall of a curved room. Aurora stands in an ornate two-wheeled chariot holding a torch in her right hand and being drawn to the right by two winged horses, with clouds below and above. The right legs and heads of the rear horses are in high relief.
