Curatorial note

Above a foliate central fillet can be discerned traces of foliage and fruit with flowers, at which a bird pecks; below the centre band, more foliage, Bacchic symbols (?) and paired (?) Bacchic masks on opposite sides of the shaft. There is another fillet band at the bottom.
