Curatorial note

Above a thin fillet, below which is a moulding comprised of four reels followed by a large bead (repeated), this antefix is in the shape of a stylized honeysuckle palmette. This tile-end is comparable to an example from Ardea in the Villa Giulia, Rome (see Andrén, Architectural Terracottas from Etrusco-Italie Temples, pl. 136, no. 481).
