Curatorial note

On the body, between plain fillet and moulding, three candelabra from which hang the filleted garlands of fruit and flowers. In the area formed by the drape of the long garland between the widely spaced candelabra is a plain inscription plate within cyma and fillet moulding. In the areas above the other two garlands, there are paired birds tusseling with a grasshopper and a lizard; from below the garlands paired birds peck at the fruit and flowers.
