Curatorial note
This figure is a reduced scale model made in London in the early 19th century after a figure from the west pediment of the Parthenon on the Acropolis (one of the Elgin Marbles), pair with M612.
Pending new photography this sculpture is illustrated with an image taken on March 3rd 1948 which appears to show a different, much whiter and lighter, surface finish than the one present today.
