Survey drawing of the attic storey and parapet (1)

The attic storey has a passage overlooking the flat roof and tribune lantern in the centre of the building. Another lantern, lighting the principal corridor, is on the north-east side and also surrounded by roofing. These variations in the plan allow for windows within the attic rooms. Providing more light are three dormers on the south-west side, and windows in the bowed rooms. The attic is accessed by the secondary staircase (which communicates with the first, mezzanine, ground and basement storeys). The attic has seven rooms, six of them heated by fire places. The survey notes the ceiling heights in each room and the beams are added in red pen.

The verso of drawing 76 is a detailed survey of the attic rooms' finishings, showing the variety of fenestration and ceiling heights in each room. The parapet surrounding the building is also included on both recto and verso.
