A translation of vol. III of Pierre Joseph d'Orléans's Histoire des révolutions d'Angleterre. The anonymous translation, attributed to John Stevens, was originally published in 1711 from the original French of 1693. With an Appendix, 'The Royal Family of the Stuarts Vindicated from the false Imputation ofI llegitimacy, &c.' with separate pagination but continous register. ESTC n7964.
Binding C18th sprinkled calf, blind roll-tooled borders within double gilt fillets, without spine-label or lettering.
