The first collected edition of the novels and histories of the Restoration playwright, propagandist poet and panegyrist, novelist, and translator Aphra Behn was published in London, 1696. Copy Notes In the Soane copy the title-page to vol. II is a duplicate to that of vol. I with the volume number corrected in ink to 'Vol. II'; the contents are otherwise correct for the second volume.
