Anonymous. In his dedication the editor, John Greaves, wrongly attributes the authorship to the translator Robert Withers, but it is actually the work of Ottaviano Bon, translated by Withers and edited by Greaves. First published in 1650. Another issue has the Ottaviano Bon was the Venetian bailo of Constantinople from 1604 to 1609. CBEL, 1969, v. 1, p. 779. Wing: W3214; ESTC r235525.
