Dedication signed 'VVylliam Thomas', dated 20 September 1549. Publication date from colophon. Foliated. Title within woodcut border. Set in blackletter. Leaves [4] and [76] are blanks; leaves 152 and 154 are misnumbered 153 and 155. Quire A is found in two settings; in the Soane copy leaf 1v has catchword 'enoughe'; another setting has 'enough'. Includes index. STC 24019; ESTC s118386.

Copy Notes Bought from William Boone for 18s., 19 January 1822. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.4.11). Possible earlier library shelf-mark in ink on title-page reads 1 30 C6 volu[me].

Binding C19th diced calf, blind-tooled palmette and anthemion within thick-thin gilt-ruled borders, gilt-tooled spine with quatrefoil ornament, brown morocco spine-label.
