Translation by Thomas Taylor. A reissue of the original 1788--89 edition, with cancel title-pages, and an errata / advertisement leaf following the title-page to vol. I. Includes a translation of the life of Proclus by Marinus. Title-pages with stipple-engraved vignettes. Volume II includes as an added title-page the 1789 title-page. Taylor was a Platonist philosopher and translator, and assistant secretary to the Society of Arts from 1797 to 1806. ESTC t143304.
