Anonymous; by J. C. Hobhouse, Baron Broughton. Another edition, the first edition of 12 pages, was published by J. Onwhyn, [1818]. Canning's letter is dated 'April 10. 1818'. The author was a radical politician and later one of Byron's executors.

Binding C19th half green binder's cloth, marbled-paper boards, paper spine-label ink-lettered 'Sundry / Pamphlets / &c.', numbered '43' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
