The first issue only. Title from the printed front wrapper, where the issue number precedes the title as does the note 'The Distributor will be thankful for Payment on delivery of each Number.'. Date of publication from engraved frontispiece. Drop-head title reads 'A New Pantheon; or, Historical Dictionary, &c.'. The wrappers (not included in the collation) are paginated [1--2], 3--4; pages [2]--4 are advertisements. The complete work was issued in parts from 10 January 1789 to 18 March 1790 (q.v.); there are two copies in Soane's library.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on front cover Mr Soane / Margaret Street / Cav. Square. The Soanes rented accommodation in Cavendish Square until 1792.
