Drop-head title. Title from half-title leaf (sig. [A1]). Imprint at foot of page 30 reads 'Printed by George Ramsay & Co. Edinburgh, 1812'; imprint on page 45 reads 'Printed by George Ramsay & Co. Edinburgh, 1814'. A further selection of privately-printed poems intended to supplement the volume of Taylor's Poems on several occasions published by John Murray in 1811 (q.v.). It includes poems on the birthday anniversaries of William Pitt, an address on the opening of the new Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and one to Mrs Desenfans on the late Sir Francis Bourgeois.

Copy Notes Partly unopened. With occasional MS. corrections in ink, probably in the author's hand as in other copies of his works in Soane's library. Inscribed in ink on the half-title John Soane / from the author / June 1814. With ALs from the author tipped onto the half-title, addressed to John Soane Esqr. and reading My Dear Sir / I send you the Addenda / to the trifling volume with / which you honoured me by / admitting into your library. / As I understand that you / are now a Bachelor I shall / be ready to sip a consolatory / dish of tea with you any / evening that you are likely / to be at home. - / Mrs. Taylor joins in best respects to you and / Mrs. Soane when you see / her. - Yours truly / J. Taylor / Sun Office 112 Strand / June 8th. 1814. Mrs Soane's absence at this period (when London was host to the Allied Sovereigns and Soane entertained Tsar Alexander at the Bank) was during a visit to Chertsey prior to her holiday in Brighton and trip to Dieppe in August.

Binding Sewn without covers. Previously loosely inserted in the copy of Taylor's Poems on several occasions, 1811 (q.v.).
