This copy of Albertolli's second collection of ornament has the additional pl. XXIII not found in the other Soane copy (q.v.), and the letterpress preface reset with type using a "short" rather than a "long" form of 's'. It probably represents a later issue, printed on or after the publication of Albertolli's third collection, Miscellanea per i giovani studiosi del disegno, 1796 (q.v.) with which it is frequently bound, probably as sold. Copy Notes Bound (3) and probably sold with a later issue of Albertolli's Ornamenti diversi (q.v.) to accompany his Miscellanea per i giovani studiosi del disegno, 1796.
Binding Later C19th half calf, blind-tooled borders, gilt double-rule and blind roll-tooled spine with dark blue morocco spine-label; possibly replacing earlier binding supplied or repaired for 9s. (see payment to Josiah Taylor on 12 June 1804, Priv. Corr. XVI.E.1).
