Engravings with a descriptive account, in English and French, of Egyptian monuments, in the British Museum, collected by the Institute in Egypt, under the direction of Buonaparte, and surrendered to the British commander in chief, Lord Hutchinson, by General Menou.

Printer's statement from p. 4. 'The whole Collection will not exceed Ten Divisions, at a Guinea each; the first to be published in November, and the rest at short intervals, the whole work being in great forwardness. Subscriptions are received by the publishers, Messrs. Longman and Rees, Paternoster Row; Mr. Medland, the engraver, Abingdon Street, Westminster; and Mr. Miller, Bookseller, Old Bond Street; where Specimens may be seen.' A later, octavo edition of the prospectus (q.v.) with the addition of a list of subscribers was issued possibly with the first number of Medland's Egyptian monuments, the plates of which are all dated 1805 (q.v.).
