Originally issued in 27 parts to form three volumes between 1832 and 1835, but here bound in one volume with undated letterpress title-page as above and added engraved title-plate dated 1832. The list of plates (including the title-plate) names 215 subjects, there being 105 with two views on each plate. See BAL, Early printed books, no. 80 (describing a reissue? in two volumes with vol. II frontispiece dated 1837).

Binding Mid-19th-century half calf, blind-tooled borders, marbled-paper boards, gilt-ruled spine, black spine-label reading 'Fisher's / Views In / Westmorland & / Cumberland. &c.&c'. Bound uniformly with Allom's Devonshire & Cornwall illustrated (q.v.), Henry Gastineau's Wales illustrated (q.v.) and Winkle's architectural and picturesque illustrations (q.v.).
