Docket title. Printed in support of Bannerman's candidacy 'for the East-India Direction.' The most recent testimonial is dated 26 August 1801, but internal evidence suggests this date is a printer's error for the same day a year earlier. Bannerman died as Governor of the Presidency of Penang in 1819.
Copy Notes Docket title-page inscribed in ink Mr. Soane. Bound (6) in a collection of pamphlets.
Binding Later C19th marbled-paper boards, maroon grained binder's cloth spine, direct-lettered in gilt 'Pamphlets'. Numbered '64' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
