xii, 110 p., [57] pl. (=95 impressions) : illus. ; 47.7 cm. (2°)

The coppers are numbered in four sequences ('Tabula' I--XXIV, I--XXXV, I--XVI, and I--XIX [i.e. XX]), those in the first three sequences being printed in pairs (except for pl. XXI in the second sequence which is printed full-page). The fourth sequence consists of six double-page plates, twelve printed single-page, and one (pl. XVIII) depicting a single scene (a marriage ceremony) divided between two distinct coppers to form two folding leaves which in some copies are pasted together to form one large plate (cf. copy at British Architectural Library). The second sequence, devoted to the 'Sepulcrum Nasonii', consists of a reprint of the plates of the 1680 edition of Le pitture antiche del Sepolcro de' Nasonii nella Via Flaminia (q.v.); the first and third sequences were added to the enlarged edition of the work published by Pietro Santi Bartoli's son Francesco in 1706; the fourth sequence is new to the present edition.
