The allegorical frontispiece was engraved by Francesco Zucchi (1692--1764) in Venice from a design by the author's brother, Conte Antonio Daniele Bertoli (1678--1743), court artist at Vienna. The title-page vignette and some of the decorative head- and tail-pieces are signed as etched after [Giambattista] Piazzetta (1682--1754). Title-page printed in red and black. Leaf pi4 is a blank. The final prelim leaf lists the errata.
