This autobiographical memoir formed part of the preface to the third volume of Britton's Beauties of Wiltshire published in 1825 (q.v.). In its separately-printed form, as here, it was "Not for sale".

Binding C19th polished calf, gilt roll-tool borders, gilt-ruled spine, maroon spine-label. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for 3s. 6d., 5 December 1827. (Archive 7/10/17, book binding.) Matching the binding of one of three copies of Britton's Catalogue raisonné of the pictures ... in the gallery of Cleveland House, 1808 (q.v.), bound at the same time.
