Another edition of Castell's Villas of the ancients illustrated, publication of the original edition of which (q.v.) was delayed until 5 July 1729 owing to the author's imprisonment for debt and consequent death from smallpox on 12 December 1728. This is the condensed 'trade edition' with the English text only, set unleaded in double columns, and omitting the subscribers' list.
