Copy Notes Copy 1: Purchased from Priestley and Weale's Catalogue of books on architecture, 1831 (q.v.), item 118, '7s6d', described as 'neat in calf'. With printed bookseller's label of Priestley & Weale, High Street, Bloomsbury on front paste-down endpaper. Plate 2 is tipped onto the second page of the 'Description Of Plate II'.
Copy 2: 20.6 cm. With the contents leaves (ii, [2] pp.) bound after the 'Preface' (xi, [1] pp.). Bound (2) in a collection of 4 pamphlets on building subjects.

Binding Copy 1: C19th tree sheep, gilt-ruled spine, red morocco spine-label.
Copy 2: C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-ruled spine, green spine-label gilt-lettered 'Bricklayer's Guide Chabannes On Ventilation &c &c'. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for 1s. 8d., 19 June 1830. (Spiers Box. Binding 51). Later numbered '86' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
