Anonymous. First published in 1763 as Cantabrigia depicta. A concise and accurate description. The Soane Museum archive has a priced list of books with a watermark dated 1812 including a 'proofs 4°' edition of 'Cantabrigia depicta' for 8 guineas, but there is no evidence to indicate that Soane purchased it. (Spiers Box.) Includes publisher's advertisements at foot of p. 149. ESTC t65428.

Copy Notes Pages 1-12 in this copy are misbound before the title-page. Bound (2) with a copy of The Winchester guide, 1780 (q.v.).

Binding C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-ruled spine, black spine-label reading 'Winchester / & / Cambridge'. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for 1s. 5d., 23 June 1829. (Priv. Corr. XVI. E. 6:29).
