Single half-sheet, verso blank, dated at foot '21st March, 1802.'. Drop-head title. Each number was to contain two etchings, each of which would represent all 'the Pictures that compose one of the Compartments of the Gallery, which is at present divided into fifty-seven'. The price to subscribers was £1 5s. per number with coloured etchings, or 15s. plain; and the price to non-subscribers £1 11s. 6d. coloured and 1 guinea plain. Another prospectus was issued after completion of the first number but before the appearance of the second (q.v.). Only three numbers were ever published (q.v.).
