Bifolium, drop-head title, verso of second leaf blank. Text dated 'Yarmouth, Sept. 1819.' Includes a list of intended subjects. The first part was promised for 1 January 1820 'and the following [three] parts at successive intervals of six months', at 3 guineas each for ordinary copies 'in Super-Royal folio', and 5 guineas each for one of the 'Fifty Copies ... printed on Imperial Folio, with proof impressions upon India paper'. An example copy of the first part only of this issue in the printed part wrapper and with a printed slip explaining the absence of the letterpress is in Soane's library (q.v.).

Copy Notes Head of page [1] inscribed in ink Allasons, Pola by Murray - perhaps a note by Soane to remind himself to order a copy of Thomas Allason's Picturesque views of the antiquities of Pola, 1819 (q.v.).
