Drop-head title. With a 'List Of Present Subscribers' and Shoberl's imprint on p. 2. The author's 'Address to the Public' includes a reference to an article by him in the 'Magazine of Natural History for April 1832'. Subscriptions were received by Dewhurst 'at his residence, No. 16, William Street, Waterloo Road, London.' The work, of which perhaps unsurprisingly there is no copy in Soane's Library, was published with the title-page dated 1834.
