Barrow, the first Lucasian professor of mathematics at Cambridge from 1663 to 1670, first published Euclidis Elementa in 1655. Text and register are continuous despite pagination. 'Euclidis Data succincte demonstrata;' has separate dated title page, with imprint 'Excudebat J. Redmayne,' on leaf Y6r. ESTC r3052.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on verso of title-page Gulielmus Turnerus Hujus libri est Possessor verus / Anno Domini 1686 Martti msd / Prim. Bound (1) with a copy of Lectio reverendi et doctissimi viri D. Isaaci Barrow beatæ memoriæ, 1678 (q.v.).
