Inscriptiones Romanae infimi aevi Romae exstantes opera et cura D. Petri Aloysii Galletti ... collectae. Tomus primus (- tertius).

The title-page is printed in red and black. The same allegorical frontispiece is used for each volume but the title-pages each have their own engraved vignette and there are a few crude woodcuts in the text, which is simply a long series of transcribed inscriptions arranged in broad classes. The very last inscription (vol. III, p. DLXVII) is dated 1761. Volume III, leaf Ss4 (pp. CCCXXVII--VIII) is a cancel.
Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting signature Kkk (pp. CCCCXL--XLVIII) in vol. I. Price in pencil on front pastedown 3 Vols -18- with the (incorrect) note Collated & Perfect, possibly by the bookseller Thomas Boone.
Binding C18th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt-ruled spines, red leather spine-labels with gilt title.
