Not to be confused with a different work with the title Bibliotheca Radcliffiana published by the Radcliffe Trustees in 1737 (q.v.) and in a new impression in 1740. The plates were engraved by Foudrinier. With an engraved portrait of Gibbs (after Hogarth) and of Radcliffe (after Kneller). BAL, Early printed books, no. 1205; ESTC t21607.

Binding Copy 1: Stitched in grey paper wrappers, heavily repaired with C20th book tape. Early paper label lettered in ink 'J. Gibbs. / Bibliotheca Radclivian.' affixed to lower cover, over the repairs.
Copy 2: Stitched in grey paper wrappers, upper cover with paper title-label lettered in ink 'Radcliffe / Library / Oxon.'. Heavily repaired with C20th book tape. Early paper label lettered in ink 'J. Gibbs. / Bibliotheca Radclivian.' affixed to lower cover, over the repairs.
