Remarks signed and dated 'D.H. Golden Square, January 27, 1792'. 'D.H.' = David Hartley. A statement of the reasons why Hartley's fire-plates failed to prevent the spreading of the fire that destroyed the Pantheon in Oxford Street on 14 January 1792.

Binding Early C19th half calf, gilt double-ruled spine, red spine-label lettered 'Plaisterers Bill &c.', marbled-paper boards (printer's waste). Bound by Edward Lawrence in 1802 for 1s. 6d. (Spiers Box). Later numbered '95' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
