A reimpression of the 51 coppers first published in 1724 (q.v.). A 'fifth Edition' had already appeared in 1730. ESTC t78313; Harris and Savage 309; BAL, Early printed books, no. 1447.
Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on title-plate John Tho and on the dedication plate Sir J Thornton. A copy, this or the first edition, was bought from W. Boone for 6d. [Lot 24] on 13 February 1822. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.4.8).
Binding C18th sprinkled sheep, rebacked in calf, double-ruled, red morocco spine-label.
