Catalogue of house contents sale following the death on 11 December 1814 of the 3rd Baron Coleraine, elder brother of the notorious Colonel George Hanger. With cancel-slip pasted on p. [3] correcting date from Monday, 16th January 1815 to the following day. The final leaf is blank.

Copy Notes Bound in a collection of sale catalogues. Unannotated copy apart from a pencil mark against lot 13 of the library, 'Histoire de Gil Blas de Santillane, par Le Sage, ornée de Figures en taille douce, 4 tomes'. Le Sage's novel was one of Soane's favourite books and he owned ten editions in French, English and Italian, including the 1795 Paris edition with engravings by Hubert (q.v.).
