This popular work, based on the tables of Baily and Smart, reached its twenty-first edition in 1880. Colophon: Printed by T. Bensley.
Copy Notes Bought from Josiah Taylor for 7s. on 10 May 1811 (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.2.12). With an inserted MS. letter to Soane from the architect, Thomas Leverton (1743--1824) dated Bedford Square 22 Jan 1816, referring to Mrs Leverton's promise made to Mr Soane of Mr Moores Books for Perusal and to Soane's presumed possession of Miss Pordens veil.
Binding C19th half black roan, blind double-rule borders, gilt double-rule spine, marbled-paper boards. Bound by E. Hutchinson for 1s. on 7 August 1830. (Spiers Box, binding bills 51).
