Lithographed covering letter, verso and conjugate leaf blank. Dated at head of p.[1]: 'Pall Mall June 1835'. The 'announcement' referred to, which this letter may have accompanied, is also in Soane's Library (q.v.).

Copy Notes Name of addressee at foot of p.[1] inscribed in ink Sir J Soane. Originally folded and sealed as a letter, and addressed on the final verso Sir J Soane / 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields. Endorsed in a later curatorial hand Re the works of the late / Sir Thomas Lawrence / 1835.
